
Google Labs just launched Pomelli, an AI tool that creates on-brand advertising campaign images from just a website URL.
We tested it at the Future of Marketing Institute (FMI), and our ad mockup was done in under two minutes.
It’s not a masterpiece, but it is fast, editable, and a very useful starting point for many small-to-medium-sized businesses. This looks to be ‘good enough’ for many companies.
This changes what marketers’ roles will look like. Agency jobs are moving away from hiring traditional creatives. New roles are emerging, such as AI Prompt Engineers who can guide the technology to produce creative output.
