About FMI
The Future of Marketing Institute (FMI) was founded in 2019 and has quickly become the premier global forum for teaching, research and outreach on topics related to the future of marketing. The mission of FMI is to investigate and publish research on a variety of leading-edge marketing topics including artificial intelligence, hyper-personalization, augmented/virtual reality, affective (emotion) computing, location-based marketing, privacy, ethics and many others.
Our institute has a collaborative approach that brings together industry partners, technology companies and major brands to interact with the brightest minds in academia. The Institute holds conferences, workshops, and seminars where stakeholders come to hear and discuss future of marketing topics.
FMI is the publisher of the 'Future of Marketing' digital magazine. The Future of Marketing Magazine is the largest digital publication on the topic with over 51,000+ readers, 11,000+ followers and 1.4 million pages read. Leadership and Staff
The Future of Marketing Institute is led by Executive Director, Dr. David Rice. Dr. Rice is a Professor of Marketing at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada. Professor Rice is supported by an Advisory Board of leading academics and business practitioners. The Institute is supported by a dedicated staff which includes five content editors, a social media manager and web developer.
