What if we could do the same in augmented reality?
An engineer just built an AR ad-blocker using Google Gemini. Letting people filter the ads they’re exposed to when wearing smart glasses.
Imagine walking through a grocery store and every isle is an endless stream of ads jumping out at you. With digital technology blending into everyday life, the world around will start to feel like one continuous ad feed.
We already pay to avoid ads on platforms like YouTube, Spotify and news sites. If that level of control exists online, why shouldn’t it extend into our augmented surroundings?
