Dr. David Rice

Dr. David Rice is Associate Professor of Marketing at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada. He has published extensively in scholarly journals and has presented his research at conferences in over 20 countries. Over the past 35 years, Dr. Rice has provided market research services and consulting to both Fortune 100 and 500 companies. His consulting experience includes successful market research projects for Microsoft, Intel, Dell, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Ford Motor Company, Eli Lilly, Canon and the World Bank.

Dr. Rice was the Founder and President of SurveySite Market Research in Toronto. SurveySite was one of the early companies conducting online market research. SurveySite was sold to ComScore in 2003. Today, Dr. Rice continues to teach and offer market research consulting services to companies in Canada and Worldwide.

Dr. Murat Kristal

Dr. Murat Kristal is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada. He joined the Schulich School of Business faculty in 2004, and he received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. Dr. Louis Rosenberg

Dr. Louis Rosenberg is a pioneer in the fields of virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. Thirty years ago he developed the first augmented reality system at Air Force Research Laboratory (the Virtual Fixtures platform). He then founded the early virtual reality company Immersion Corporation (1993) and the early augmented reality company Outland Research (2004).

Dr. Joachim Scholz

Dr. Joachim Scholz is a marketing professor at Brock University who specializes in augmented reality marketing, social media controversies, and branding in digitally-infused and hyper-connected societies. He published the first-ever conceptual article on AR marketing, which won Article of the Year award and is one of the most-cited articles about this topic. Joachim has taught AR since 2015 as part of his digital marketing courses and, in 2020, has launched the world’s first dedicated Augmented Reality Marketing courses for undergraduate as well as MBA students.

One of Joachim’s greatest passions is to share his ‘fresh ideas’ with the broader business community. He is a member of Adweek's Academic Council and regularly publishes research-driven insights on Adweek, MKTGsquad, and other AR-specific publications.
