The UCLA Career Center hosts panelists Bria Deans (Brand Marketing Specialist, NBC Universal) Michelle Harrow (Director of Global Talent Acquisition Strategy & Operations, Twitter), Tyler Dimich (Sr. Social Media Manager, ESPN), Melissa Llarena (CEO, Career Outcomes Matter) and Amanda Savercool (Director of Social Media, UCLA Strategic Communications) who discuss the current trends in the industry and the future of social media and marketing. One of the biggest shifts these panelists have seen in social media engagement and strategy has been having an awareness goal to a more targeted shift to providing the customer impactful value, where this idea of value aligns with their cultural and psychological needs more specifically.
